TIME FOR SENATE DEMOCRATS TO STAND UP TO FASCISM [1]

If we as a nation have any chance of surviving the next two years it is going to be up to Democrats in the United States Senate to lead the way. I must confess upfront that this notion scares the ever living shit out of me — for I have very little faith in Senate Dems right now. I am willing to change that opinion should facts on the ground also change.
This country is going to need the Senate Dems to slow walk EVERY piece of legislation the GOP tries to bring forward in the Senate; every confirmation, every judgeship, every MAGA bill, anything and everything that does not help the American public HAS TO BE FILIBUSTERED; and not just one with a blue slip — an actual talking for 60 hrs old fashioned filibuster. Something that shows the public that Democrats are not afraid to fight for the average person and will stand up to Trump, MAGA, and the oligarchs for the good of the nation.
Do I think this will happen — sadly no. I am not sure Democrats possess the fortitude or the desire to push back against the monied interests that have infiltrated our party — BUT I HAVE HOPE!
Hope that they will do the right thing for once and stand up to this autocratic asshole and his billionaire minions and once and for all expose the GOP for the corrupt treasonous fascists that they have become. Our nations survival requires it and it is damn time for Democrats to start fighting — the fucking powder is dry enough.
