For those who cherish our country as deeply as I do, who have served it with unwavering commitment, President Biden has given us our charge. In his Farewell Address, he reminded us of the enduring promise of America:
“After 50 years of public service,” he declared, “I give you my word: I still believe in the idea for which this nation stands. A nation where the strengths of our institutions and the character of our people matter and must endure.
“Now it’s your turn to stand guard. May you all be the keeper of the flame. May you keep the faith.
“I love America.
“You love it too.
“God bless you all.”
These words are both a call to action and a torch passed to us. The battle before us is clear, and the stakes are undeniable. Trump, Musk, and those who champion their vision have laid down a formidable challenge to the principles we hold dear. It is now our responsibility to rise, bringing all that we can—our talents, our resolve, and our shared commitment to justice and truth.
Let us rally together and answer the call with purpose and determination. The future of our nation depends on it.
