It’s time to recover from our grief, our shock, our outrage and start making some plans for survival.
I look forward to hearing from some of you about what works for you personally in your efforts to survive the oncoming storm, personally, politically and professionally. I think we all predict it will be a dark time.
One thing I do know, there have been very dark times before. I am a student of dark history. I am a survivor of a dark childhood. I know dark times do not last forever. And even in dark times, we can find light. We can find and build on sparks of hope and anger. We can never give up. No matter how dark it gets.
