So Amy Chozick strikes again. [1]

I did a double take and had to suppress a gag reflex when I saw and read a shit opinion “guest essay” in today’s New York Times written by none other than Amy Chozick, titled, Los Angeles Is Being Crushed Under the Weight of Inaction

In case anyone needs a reminder, Ms. Chozick made hay with the NYT in 2016 by penning multiple front page “but her emails” pieces in The Times about Hillary Clinton. Ms. Chozick probably did more than anyone to inflame and perpetuate the meme and damage Clinton’s candidacy. And here she is again today, using the LA fires as an opportunity to largely criticize Democrats while longing for “strong leadership” in this crisis along the lines of fucking Rudy Giuliani after 9/11, or “Stormin’ Norman Scwharzkopf.”

And how did the NYT identify Ms. Chozick?

Amy Chozick, a screenwriter and executive producer based in Los Angeles, is the author of “Chasing Hillary,” which she adapted into the Max series, “The Girls on the Bus.”

But not a fucking thing about her being a former NYT reporter.

Fortunately, most of the top comments (now closed) have excoriated her.

What’s next? The NYT bringing back Judith Miller to extoll the virtues of taking over Greenland?
