The Revenge of Deranged Jack Smith - update at end [1]

Donald Trump just couldn't get over it yesterday, when Jack Smith resigned from the Department of Justice.
He was so happy about it that he had to do his normal, abnormal, rant on Truth Social.
Started it last night, and he was so happy, he had to continue this morning at 4:43 a.m.
"Deranged Jack Smith was fired today." No, Donald, he quit because there was nothing left for him to do, and you said you were going to fire him anyway. He didn't give you the pleasure. That's what angers you.
The disgrace to a family and the country is you, ever since you were born.
Third person "Witch Hunt against TRUMP." Me, me, me.
The next paragraph is a bit of hyperbole I made up:
He didn't leave town empty-handed, he left with a copy of the reports against you. He'll make sure they get into someone's hands if you try to prevent the reports release.
Smith has a copy of the report in his head. After two years of work, he knows all that's in it. Jack Smith has been the most tight lipped prosecutor I've ever seen. I can't use the fingers on one hand to count the times he's talked in public. He won't say anything until after the report is released. Maybe he'll say something then. He should be able to respond to Trump's attacks, but he has scruples, where Trump has none.
Today, Sunday, Merrick Garland told Aileen Cannon that there's nothing in the Jan. 6th report that affects the classified documents case against Walt Nauta and Carlos de Olivieri. Friday, they asked Cannon to hold up both reports. We're waiting for that ruling.
Now it's the "Stench of Deranged Jack Smith." How about the fact that many people say that you fart on a regular basis, and just plain stink when you haven't?
Forbes did a check at the end of March 2024 that said that Special Counsel Jack Smith had spent $35 million on the cases against Trump. That's two for the price of one. January 6th and Trump's theft of classified documents. He's probably spent some more, but not as much as he did while prosecuting the cases. Cost probably dropped down to just about nothing after the Supreme Court immunity ruling. But it's going to be nowhere near $100 million. And if it did hit $100 million dollars, it would be money well spent.
"Destroying the lives of many people and families." Projection once again. Destroying people's lives and their families is just one of Trump's hobbies.
"Deranged Jack never accomplished anything." Then why are you so upset about it, Donald? Jack could go back to the International Criminal Court and charge you with crimes against humanity. It would be an easier case to prove than the federal cases that got dropped because you're going to be, I hate to say this, president.
And he finishes it off with everyone that isn't him is a political loser. He forgets how close the election was. He still thinks he's got a mandate that doesn't exist. Even if you had one, Donald, it doesn't justify thinking you can turn the whole country into Nazi Germany.
I look forward to reading Jack Smith's report on Trump and the January 6th insurrection. I hope there's a lot of reporting in the document that gives us details we haven't seen before. We already know enough to know that Trump caused the insurrection, enjoyed it, and has profited off of it.
Trump should be in jail instead of walking away free. But maybe...no, it's not even a maybe...Trump will commit some crime that he gets caught red handed doing, and heads for a third impeachment. If not with this Congress, then with the next in two years. I don't think we'll have to wait that long.
Add-on:
At 10:14 a.m., Trump did a two word post:
"SAVE RUDY!!!"
I thought I was done for the day on this one. But Donald decided to continue his rant.
It just shows how scared he is of the January 6th report coming out. Excuse me, "report". Putting quote marks around it delegitimizes it.
Political Witch Hunt came next. Then he makes a double bald-faced lie. Jack was never thrown off the case and never dismissed by the Department of Justice. What does Trump think he's accomplishing here? He has to discredit Jack Smith in order to discredit the report.
Then, "to put it nicely," he tries to claim that Smith was illegitimately appointed because Aileen Cannon said so. She has all the credibility of George Santos.
Now, the two cases against him have cost the taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars. Earlier, he said it was just 100 million dollars, which was too high an estimate in the first place.
Then he makes a really funny typo. "He has 'filled' thousands of rejected statements and documents against me." I suppose you can say he filled in forms, but he wouldn't be filling in statements or documents. He's so upset he can't get the word "filed" correctly. Can we say "covfefe"?
The "joke" is on you, Donald, because when that January 6th report comes out, you're never going to hear the end of it.
Lastly, the imaginary "landslide" justifies all the crimes he's ever committed in his whole life. The voters think I'm innocent, it must be true.
As long as Trump has time to discredit Jack Smith and the report, he will continue doing so. Then when it comes out, he has to say that it's already discredited because he said so earlier.
Continue the lie. Lie as many times as possible. Repeat. It's worked for him against an ignorant public. Why should he stop now?
