MAGA, American Capitalism and the Ukraine/Russia War [1]

Capitalism and the Ukraine/Russia war are inextricably linked.
Nativism, nationalism and isolationism are particularly alluring in a capitalist nation, because while capitalism is the best model of commerce, it also begets, for many, a dissatisfaction and resentment about their own lives, and against others. For many (most?) Americans, they believe they have a *right* to do better year over year; a right to goods at certain costs; a guaranteed right to financially prosper; and a right to always be the beneficiary of the capitalist tenet of unequal outcomes.
But capitalism has a way of quashing all/some of those imaginary rights. There is no American -ism more mythologized than capitalism. The belief that one person is a utopian elixir for our economic anxieties and woes is much more a communist, than capitalist, notion.
Yes, we have problems aplenty in America; but some problems abroad potentially affect America and our allies. Not to America's levels, but many nations have robust economies and capable militaries. What makes us truly unique in the world are our alliances. And Ukraine is our ally.
The world is not a deserted island; lots of GOP politicians sell deserted island politics. I suspect the GOP and MAGA media pundits know this; I implore MAGA Americans to look inward and understand that the politicians and pundits insult their intelligence on an hourly basis.
The war in Ukraine will end when Russia withdraws. Thank you.
