SCOTUS denies Trump's request to halt sentencing. [1]

Roberts and Coney-Barret join liberal judges. Trump will have to face this terribly shaved down nothing of a sentence. But yet is still something. And this judge did the best thing we could have hoped for. He got rid of endless things Trump’s lawyers would have used to make sure this case is never fully heard.

SO. Trump will face Merchan’s words and it will be national news. IMO, this is the best we could hope for, and hats off to Judge Merchan who out out-foxed Trump. I know it is not how we wanted to see him held accountable, but it is a something better than a nothing.

I know many will say it’s a scrap of what should have happened, but people, when we get a victory, small as it feels, let’s make that victory blaze and come alive.
