Art is one of the defining characteristics of the species Homo. In Europe, representation art depicting humans first appears following the Ice Ages in the form of both drawings and sculptures. Artistic techniques have changed greatly since them and museums are with a variety of art forms depicting human figures both nude and clothed. Shown below are some examples from the Montana Museum of Art and Culture on the University of Montana campus in Missoula.
