Trump's Greenland Art of the Deal [1]

Trump hasn't given up. He still thinks that he can buy Greenland. It doesn't matter to him that Greenland has said that they're not for sale. Greenland is a territory of Denmark, which has also said no sale. Greenland is autonomous and actually wants to become independent of Denmark.
So, Trump is sending Don Jr. and other despicables to do his dirty work. Is anyone going to tell Donald that only 57,000 people live there? The western coast and the southeastern coast have habitable land. The rest of Greenland is covered with ice.
The US president elect's son, plans to record video footage for a podcast during the one-day private visit, US media report. Donald Trump reignited controversy in December, when he said "ownership and control of Greenland is an absolute necessity" for US national security. He had previously expressed an interest in buying the Arctic island during his first term as president. Trump was rebuffed by Greenland's leaders on both occasions. The president elect's post also included a video featuring an unnamed Greenlander wearing a red Make America Great Again hat, telling Trump to buy Greenland and free it from "being colonized" by Denmark.
Here's the Truth Social link to Trump's post with the video.
Most of Greenland's population are Inuit. This guy isn't one of them.
"We have noted the planned visit of Donald Trump Jr. to Greenland. As it is not an official American visit, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark has no further comment to the visit," the ministry told BBC news.
Hours after present-elect Trump's latest intervention, the Danish government announced a huge boost in defense spending for Greenland. Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen described the announcement's timing as "irony of fate."
Conservative MP Rasmus Jarlov posted on social media in English, that "this level of disrespect from the coming US President towards very, very loyal allies and friends is record setting."
Don Jr. is making the trip to Greenland in his father's plane nicknamed Trump Force One.
Joining Don Jr. on the trip is Chatlie Kirk of Turning Point USA.
"We want to meet the people," the president elect's son said in his podcast, Triggered. "They seem like a great bunch of people."
Greenland, an autonomous territory of Denmark, boasts mineral, oil and natural gas wealth. But development has been slow, leaving it's economy reliant on fishing and annual subsidies from Denmark.
Adja Chemnitz, a Greenlandic member of the Danish parliament, said the idea of a US takeover should be firmly rejected. "I don't want to be a pawn in Trump's hot dreams of expanding his empire to include our country," she said.
Trump is not the first US president to suggest buying Greenland. The idea was first mooted by the country's 17th president Andrew Johnson, during the 1860s.
In 1946, President Harry Truman wanted to buy Greenland for $100 million in gold. His administration was rebuffed, too.
Trump just can't get it through his head that no means no. Of course, he's had that same problem with women.
How in God's name could the people of Greenland be MAGA? I really want to know who told him that the people of Greenland are MAGA. He can't be basing that on one guy in a hat, can he?
"The people will benefit tremendously if, and when, it becomes part of our Nation." They don't want to be part of America. They don't even want to be part of Denmark.
"We will protect it, and cherish it, from a very vicious outside World."
It reminds me of this Warner Bros. cartoon.
Finally, he creatively came up with "MAKE GREENLAND GREAT AGAIN!" Trump probably sings it like YMCA.
The people of Greenland already thinks they are great. Try not to destroy America so we have to make it great again, Donald.
