Pay Attention to the Words Used [1]

Trump is a lot of things. None of them is honest, loyal, or anywhere close to leadership. He is a salesman. He's a con salesman, but he's good at it. It's perhaps the one thing he is good at, beyond being a fascist asshole that should be in jail.
That being said, look at all the quotes being used from various congressman and senators. Note the patterns. That is how things get embedded. All the lies about health care reformation, a wall Mexico will pay for, infrastructure, etc. go out the window.
The quotes from Republicans, even reported here, keep repeating the word "mandate". Trump won by the smallest margin in over a century. There is no mandate, but say it enough, and have it repeated enough, and people start to believe it.
That's not an accident. That's indoctrination.
See how much "open borders" was repeated over and over again in the wake of the horrific attacks in New Orleans and Las Vegas. None of that is true. It was two American citizens, both military veterans. Even after Fox retracted their bullshit story on that, it didn't matter anymore. Hours and days afterward, it was (and probably still is) repeated.
That's not an accident. That's indoctrination.
Look at how discombobulated Trump is in general. He has no clue about pretty much anything except his own well being. He stopped halfway through a speech and "danced" for around 40 minutes. Doesn't matter. He told everyone Haitians ate neighbors' dogs first, so that was normal.

See how it was reported all over the place that he fell asleep and farted incessantly in a court of law during a felony hearing. He most likely shit his pants, according to most. So, it's time to wear diapers on the outside of your clothes.

There isn't anything his followers won't believe. From hydrochloroquine to bleach to shoving a light bulb up your ass, they will do as told. It's an embarrassment.
I wish we had a clear path out of this morass, but so far, we don't. Millions know he's more full of shit than what he spews, but none of us own the WP or NYT. We have millions of people that see straight through Trump's bullshit dog and pony routine, but we have no voice.
Daily Kos is obviously a voice for that, but a website does not equal a broadcast station flowing into millions of homes daily. There's NPR, but it's already threatened to be shutdown and it's skipped over while finding the gazillion other right wing talk shows.
I'm not honestly sure on next steps here. We have two weeks before sundowning grandpa befuddlepants* takes control. We don't know what the hell he'll try on day one, but we know what every one of his enablers has on their agendas.
