Tariffs and deportation show that many are prepared to suffer terribly to make certain that others suffer more.

They didn’t solve the problem, or any problem, but the money coming in muffles the noise. $1 million will be just a deposit for Trump’s protection racket. Each million goes to Trump's inaugural fund, which is being held in Trump’s pocket this year.
The Washington Post tried to bury what will be their most viewed editorial cartoon ever, because pointing out billionaire hush money payments has become so “repetitious”. Many subscribers to the Post realized their subscription payments have also been becoming too repetitive.
