Carville is right about this much: Can the Academe Speak. [1]

Carville is not my favorite guy, but when he went on the tube and bade the left to get out of the 'Ivory Tower' and stop the 'NPR Speak' to appeal to 'Trump Voters', he was not wrong. OTOH, if one construes 'Trump Voters' to mean MAGA-nauts, then sure, he was wrong.
The thing is Felonious got roughly 49% of the popular vote. I am fairly certain between ten and twenty percent were not MAGA-nauts. That's the group he is right about. That's the group that Academe Speak puts off.
Take immigration. The Felonious Administration is not going to deport at a rate significantly different than past Administrations. It will instead make a spectacle of particularly cruel deportation practices that his base will savor and thus obsfuscate his real record in order to inflame the left. The latter will serve as icing on the cake for his base, and serve as proof that he's tough on immigration.
Instead of focusing on his outrages, the left need to put their social justice warrior predilections, along with ridiculous terminology like 'latinx', aside to focus on the practical fall out and betrayals of his policies. The fallout is down the road as his policies will no doubt cause economic harm, so for now it's all about the betrayals.
Forget social justice. Appeal to selfishness, and how his policies are stabs in back. The H-1B Visa kerfuffle is an example of the latter. He's robbing his voters' children of good paying jobs and opportunities in the tech industry which is the primary problem with that sector. To put it crudely, the problem with silicon valley isn't liberals... it's the lack of born and bred Americans running the show, and he and his foreign born oligarch Musk want to keep it that way.
Sure it's disingenuous and unfair, but hey, all's fair in love and war. Make no mistake, we are in a war against fascism. Besides, it's less disingenuous and unfair than the term neo-liberal.
I would also add E-Visas. They basically allow people to come and stand up businesses using wealth from whatever corrupt scheme they came up with in their own, how did Felonious so delicately put it, 'shithole countries' that will compete with American entrepreneurs for shares of our domestic markets.
The point I am making is capitalize on the fact that his Administration's policies are geared to stifle upward mobility, and preserve the station of our modern day oligarchs like Musk. Just don't use such pointy headed, academic terms.
He's on the side of foreign robber barons and carpet baggers, not Americans. The 'illegals' he is deporting have more in common with his voters and their grandparents than those he's welcoming. They are just as God fearing, and just want to work hard and provide for their families. The people he is welcoming look down at his voters.
Crude, but to the point. More importantly, there's little need of further explanation for your run of the mill American to get it.
By the way, the approach to abortion access should be equally crude. Set aside the intellectual arguments that men and women have a Constitutional substantive due process right to life saving healthcare under the Fifth Amendment,* the patriarchy, etc. His Administration supports laws that kill women. That's murder pure and simple.
Call a spade a spade.
--------------—------
* The relevant clause of the Fifth Amendment is this. "No person shall be... [ ] ...deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law;..." Thus the state cannot simply preemptively deny or delay access to abortion any more than it can premptively deny or delay access to bypass surgery. The state has no business getting involved in those decisions. To put it in legalese, it has no standing.
