The Prognostication Scenario, or Yups; I Can Pretend to Tell the Future [1]

By the late spring and early summer of 2025, many in the United States concluded that their beloved country had become a kakistocratic plutocracy, a country run by a cadre of wealthy people who proved to be inexperienced, incompetent, and unprepared to do the government positions they were assigned. The following story provides one reason for this conclusion.
Trump planned to close the US-Mexico border. To demonstrate their resistance to Trump’s bully tactics, the leaders of Canada and Mexico met secretly. To the surprise of the entire world, both countries closed their borders for two hours in the mid-morning on Sunday, January 19, 2025, the day before the inauguration. This action created two hours that shocked the world economy, particularly in the Asian stock exchanges.
Mr. Biden was serving his last day in office but was still President. He declared a national emergency. As Commander-in-Chief, he put the entire United States military on high alert and halted all official proceedings until “things settle down.”
This meant that the inauguration had to be put on hold. As for Trump, he was apoplectic. An aide filmed his comically sputtering and incoherent rant and released the footage. The aide ironically chose greed instead of Trump, resigned from his post, and sold his video for over two million dollars to one of the major news networks.
Trump wanted to arrest President Biden, but Biden reminded him that he didn’t commit a crime. Further, as an “official act” as President, he was immune from prosecution anyway.
