A lot of pieces have been written here about Ben Wikler lately. The successful chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin has entered the race for head of the DNC. I’m thrilled! I think he is fantastic and agree that he would be great as chair of the DNC. I thought I’d provide some info on what we can do to help make that happen.
We used to have “Meet-Ups” here at Daily Kos. Gather in our cities and meet-up to eat (of course) and also to do some politicking. I miss those meetups but here is something that can be done online to help guide the course of the Democratic Party.
It’s the 448 members of the DNC who will be voting on the position of Chair so one thing you can do is contact the DNC members of your state party.
I googled “virginia democratic party steering committee” and got this link vademocrats.org/…
At that link there is a list of the members of the steering committee and within that list I found this:

If you can’t find your states members post a comment here and someone will help you find out, I guarantee.
It’s not that hard to find the contact info for these folks and when you do, contact them! Let them know who you’d like to see heading the D Party. Ask them to vote for Ben Wikler. Call them, email or send a text, do all 3. You would be amazed at the power the readers of Daily Kos have. More than one State Party Chair knows who we are!!
