I’m watching today’s ceremony at the Jimmy Carter Center. Watching the secret service men carry his coffin and I teared up. They were with him in life and now in death. Those folks do such an honorable job and it’s done so quietly!
The Carters changed the world. Heard what they did with the Guinea Worm? Over 3.5 million impacted (mostly in Africa) and the Carters got it down to 13 by this year, through their work with the villages. THIRTEEN! This is what a Potus does. A good one. An honorable one. They take care of others. Their work is dedicated, with integrity, love, and honor towards their fellow man.
What I can’t do, and won’t — I WILL NOT WATCH 47’s inauguration. I also hope, that when the time of his death comes, and it will, he will NOT be given all the pomp and circumstance all of our other honorable Presidents have been given.
He has not, and will not earn it, nor deserve it. A convicted felon, indicted sexual offender, and more, should NEVER be given the respect that Carter is being given now. NEVER.
