Another Saturday Night - New Year, New Music [1]

There are, AFAIK, three types of “new” music:
1) most obviously, music that just got put out
2) older music you’ve never heard before (there was a point in our early lives where we hadn’t heard of the Beatles and/or Beethoven)
3) music you’ve heard before, BUT has not previously captured you until now
I will mention a fourth “type” below, but first—three vids for the types above:
This was over 20 years ago, but I still remember driving to work one day and a new song came on the radio that absolutely blew me away; short, raw, hard-driving, like an even leaner-sounding Ramones (just guitar and drums)
White Stripes :: Fell in Love with a Girl
I’m blessed to have three local radio stations with eclectic formats—one Americana, one college station, and one that’s just…. different; plays pretty much everything. Heard this tune on that last one a while ago, had never heard it before.
Billy Swan :: Don’t Be Cruel
Lastly, there’s this one. Grew up with CCR, of course, and had almost certainly heard this one before, but for some reason, it resonates with me now, in a way it had not done previously.
Creedence Clearwater Revival :: Someday Never Comes
And for those of you who don’t have examples of the above types close to hand, you can take up the challenge of posting a song you’ve never posted in ASN before. The CCR tune above fits that bill for me; might post another example or two later.
Thanks for playing! Cheers, all!
