Standing ovation for the role she played on the Jan 6th Committee. Had Harris won, perhaps a Medal of Freedom instead. The reality is the photos with Biden and Harris as having a negative effect on her GOP political future.

President Joe Biden awards former Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., who served as chair and vice chair of the now-defunct House Jan. 6 committee, with the Presidential Citizens Medal.

The medal is the second-highest civilian award in the United States, behind only the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
