I suggested a while back that Trump should be duct taped to a chair so somebody can tell him that tariffs are disguised sales taxes.
He posted this today.
He didn't listen. He never does. Income tax bad (for rich people), tariffs good (for rich people).
We were never so wealthy. Sounds like the royal "we." Me wan all de money, mon. Me got good ideas.
Tariffs alone created all the wealth in this country. I've never heard anything so preposterous.
The man has no clue about economics. You would think that the "great" businessman would have some clue that the workers of America, and the businesses they worked for, built the United States, not tariffs.
Pay off the debt? With him in charge we won't be able to buy toothpicks.
Is there anybody in his cabinet, like the new Treasury Secretary, who can tell him how things work?
