Joe Biden's first post of 2025 was a simple "Happy New Year, folks." That was on @joebiden
He is being criticized for being tone deaf to the truck killing in New Orleans.
On @potus, he followed up.
The man must be tired of responding to each daily killing disaster, usually by guns he'd like to ban, like the AR-15 the killer in New Orleans had.
Donald Trump also said Happy New Year! over a picture of himself. Prior to that he posted "Happy New Year to all. It will be a great time for America!"
The first post of the day took a different tone.
He had to find a way to blame the incident in New Orleans on Democrats and the fake news media. You have made this a much more politically violent country, Donald. Take the blame yourself. Yes Donald, the crime rate is a level no one has ever seen before. It's down, you idiot! Except for death by guns. You can take credit for that one, too.
On Trump's X account, crickets.
Only Donald Trump can can take a disaster and make it all about him. But we knew that.
Joe Biden is running the country. People can't expect him to respond to everything, everywhere, all at once, on every message outlet he has.
