My Best of 2024 List. [1]

This is a selection of six of what I feel are the best stories I wrote in the year now ending. Not necessarily the most recommended or commented on. Just those which I spent real effort to write, because they weren't always especially easy or fun; and yet the finished story was something I felt I could take a certain pride in.

From January, this story I wrote in response to a piece written by David Wolpe for The Atlantic, titled "The Return of the Pagans"- The Sad Irony of David Wolpe Talking Sh*t About Pagans.
From February, the diary I wrote about an innkeeper's daughter who ended up an empress and a saint, as well as the first recorded Christian pilgrim- Women In Religion: Flavia Julia Helena Augusta.
From June there's this story about how I came to appreciate a particular kind of privilege...after I'd lost it- My Able-Bodied Privilege.
From July comes this story detailing my concerns about Project 2025- Patriarchy, Piety, Pornography & More: the Heritage Foundation and Project 2025.
From September, this piece about coming to terms with my new reality- Cripple Gal.
Lastly, from November, this diary describing a particularly useful way to manipulate your personal energy field- Glamour of Invisibility, What It Is and How To Do It.
