This is news to me.
They said the munitions were to be used for lighting and smoke screens, “not for use against enemy troops.” The Defense Department has recommended that phosphorus shells be included in several aid packages, including the latest one.

Side note: I have had to unfollow several pro-Ukrainian Twitter accounts because in their over-the-top vitriol aimed at Joe Biden they have decided that Ukraine would be better off if Trump wins and Republicans take over.
Look, I get that they don’t like the restrictions on the use of weapons in Russia. I don’t like them either. But telling Biden and Jake Sullivan to burn in hell or how they would be better off with Trump is beyond the pale.
