Democracy Docket: Warns of Voting Purges increasing in Swing States [1]

Quick recap:

One of the misuses of a state’s List Maintenance process is to assert ‘John Smith’ has moved out of the state — so that all the registered voters named ‘John Smith’ are removed (purged) from the state’s voter roles. ( how can this be legal ?)

Another misuse are individual “voter challenges” — often initiated by far right groups challenging names they don’t like. These challenges usually target areas, known to be democratic voting areas/democratic demographics. And are occurring more often in swing states.

Bottom-line: It is each voter’s responsibility to ensure they are still registered ahead of time. Some states quit accepting registrations (re-registrations) in the next week or two. So chop-chop.

Check with your own state’s Secretary of State, to verify your current registration status.

PS. I also heard about this insidious effort to gum up the Election works, elsewhere in the last few days. I started researching it. It definitely deserves more investigative work:

"Protect the Vote" and "poll watchers", for this Fall. (Click that Google search, and read a few of the articles.) The RNC (and associates) have some nefarious things planned under the guise of, for this Fall. (Click that Google search, and read a few of the articles.)

Several “Stop the Steal” advocates are leading these “Protect the Vote” efforts, across the nation. And when questioned by the Press about their goals and intentions — they usually refuse to disclose the details of what they are planning. Or even what their training consists of.

To give you a sense of it: This Protect “volunteer” of Pizza-gate fame is particularly disturbing, given how quickly he is moving up the ‘Election Monitoring’ ranks:
