Nebraska headaches Incoming? [1]

Never let it be said that things aren’t ‘interesting’ it appears the Nebraska GOP are attempting to change the state to winner take all as soon as next week, so it would be in effect for this years election. While it’s only 1 EC vote, it would increase the odds of the dreaded tie.
Basically, the Gov, Jim Pillen hosted 24 state senators and election officials to see how much support there would be in calling a special session next week and make the change. Everyone's favorite lapdog… I mean US Senator Lindsey Graham, apparently went to encourage them to make the change as well.
Why now? Because of the way things work… with Maine. This was apparently talked about a bit back in April, with Maine saying they liked things they way they were but if Nebraska changed thiers they’d have to change theirs as well to balance things out. But if they do it now, Maine by the way their schedule works wouldn’t have time to change their system.
The good news is that as of me writing this, it does not appear as of **RIGHT NOW** the votes aren’t there to change this. But never say never.
