What customs did you grow up with, for good luck in the New Year? Marti has already mentioned that she likes Hoppin’ John, and that and greens are popular Southern and Soul Food dishes for January 1. In Pennsylvania, it’s often pork & sauerkraut, FSM only knows why. Anyway, I look forward to hearing from you in the comments.
