This is in the news a LOT, and there are times I have to agree. Let’s get rid of the illegals. All those grifters who come over to do drugs and find hookers. All those who overstayed their visas. And especially the ones as Trump said, who are “poisoning the blood”.
No, I’m not talking about Haitians. I’m not talking about Colombians, or Venezuelans, or Puerto Ricans, or anyone, except: US CITIZENS.
According to Mexican officials, 200,000 Americans are living illegally in Mexico; some of the "drybacks" have been attracted to Mexico by the promise of NAFTA-inspired jobs. (UC Davis)
Last year about 1,000 US citizens were questioned over irregularities in their immigration status, according to Mexican authorities. They face a modest fine - up to $50 - if officials find them working without a permit or living in Mexico without proper documents. (The BBC)
Note how leniently US citizens are treated here, compared to the brutality meted out by US authorities.
So I think it’s time to enact justice. To send all these illegal US citizens back to where they came from. You cannot have justice for one without justice for all!
