The Museum of Glass (MOG) in Tacoma, Washington had a special exhibition, Boundless Curiosity, featuring Robert M. Minkoff’s passion for glass art. According to MOG:
Robert M. Minkoff was a long-time Museum of Glass Trustee and the Museum’s first Trustee Emeritus. His passion for glass evolved over decades of patronage of artists and support of arts institutions.
Boundless Curiosity follows Minkoff’s love of glass by illustrating the mastery of traditional techniques and exploration of new ideas through remarkable examples from the Robert M. Minkoff Foundation Collection, which the Museum received in 2020. The broad representation of artists, both national and international, tells vibrant stories of glass’s evolution from a studio craft material to an innovative contemporary art medium. The exhibition will feature a series of interactive opportunities for creativity and personal reflection, honoring Minkoff’s life-long love of art.
