Trump and the future of the Military [1]

What effect would another Trump presidency have on the military?

Recruiting is where the manpower of the military comes from. How will the forces be able to recruit when the message voiced by the Commander in Chief is the military are all “suckers and losers”. Can you recruit with the message that you may be required to attack other American in certain cities in America. When the military is set to become a politized entity where the path to promotion is slavish loyalty to Trump, not effectiveness or competence. Will the military now include a political officer in the chain of command? It worked so well in the Russian military, and all the Republicans so laud the Russian military. If you are to lead troops into combat with their lives on the line where will the confidence of those troops be? How will this affect the Military Academies? What about the Honor Codes of these revered institutions? Does everything get tossed aside if it conflicts with the desire of one Donald J. Trump? Maybe our National Cemeteries get repurposed or dual purposed as golf courses so that they can get a higher attendance rating. Who cares if you walk all over the graves of those that gave their lives in defense of the Nation, they were all “suckers and losers”. To alleviate this designation will the oath of enlistment be changed to an oath of loyalty to DJT, that will surely be an elevation of purpose and dignity (not really!).

As the military continues to fail to meet its recruitment goals where would a Trump Administration go for more personnel? Could you have a return to conscription (the draft) maybe he empties prisons to fill the ranks of the military. If a draft is reinstituted there will probably be a fee to get out of the draft that only the rich would be able to afford. For those that have served honorably, how would a swelling of the ranks with convicts eager to get out of jail affect the view of your service. How would and influx of convicts and those who either got to jail or the military in regard to discipline and training?

The mission of the military is to provide for the defense of the Nation. Will the mission now be to bomb hurricanes into submission up to using nuclear ordinance to do so? Maybe the defense or confiscation of foreign oil fields to ensure low prices at the pump. Will the Army Corps of Engineers be tasked with the building of a second “Great Wall” (we will show the Chinese how to do it right) on the southern border. Mabe they would prepare a Great Pyramid to honor the “Donald”.

What will be the role of women in the military under a Trump Presidency? Will they be relegated to the role of concubines to the troops and commanders as a reward to loyalty to Trump? Maybe there will be a breeder brigade so that Tommy Tub O’ Shit can fulfill his finest masochistic desires.
