Today is Dec 16th. I recall that you said you would be leaving for Israel right after Chanukah.
That time is now upon us.
So, I wanted to post this small note.
Vaya Con Dios my friend.
I wish that I had been able to make it to New Mexico to see you in person before you left for Israel this time. Alas, it was not possible. or that I could have caught you on one of your recent trips to the west coast (I live near Seattle). Time was simply too short.
We will miss you.
Especially your work along the Mexican border will be missed. Things are going to get very challenging for immigrants trying to cross the border over the coming year… your good deeds along the border will be missed.
But it is also clear that you are headed into the hottest part of the furnace.
please let us know when your next trip to the USA is to happen.
In the interim, you will be in our prayers and in our thoughts.
And, PLEASE let us know what we can do to help. I know the situation there is complicated and very difficult. If there is anything you need, or any way we can help, please let us know.
