Old Northeast is the original part of St Petersburg FL, settled back in 1876 when the city was founded. Today it is one of the ritzy parts of town, filled with expensive old houses and BnB’s for the tourists. But it’s a nice waterfront walk.
Some photos.
For those who don't know, I live in a converted campervan and travel around the country, posting photo diaries of places that I visit. I am currently wintering in Florida.

Some of the streets are still paved with the original red bricks
Made in Augusta GA, I’ve seen “Augusta Blocks” all over the southeastern US.
A walking/biking path runs along the water
Coffee Pot Bayou
Big expensive houses along the water
Bird Island—a favored nesting place for pelicans, egrets and herons
Brown Pelicans
Beach volleyball courts
There is a population of Quaker Monk Parakeets in this part of town
