Okay, here is the link to the list of hit songs from 2014:

en.wikipedia.org/…

Oh, wait, here is a song by my cousin:

Paris is my cousin by way of my wife, Tonia, who died on the 10th of March, 2022.

Paris is the daughter of Tonia’s aunt.

Nice music, seems to me.

Chris Brown, featuring Usher and Rick Ross, at number 77:

Ah, so smooth. Tonia had me listening to this in the last couple years before she died. But I never saw the video until now. Smooth video, as well. But I could never wear all white clothing like that. I would spill food on it, and stain it! Ha!

Jeremih, featuring YG, at number 42:

I skipped over so many, so very many, hip hop songs, as I worked my way up the list, because none of them were at the level of this one.

Plus, I remember this one, from way back then.

Feel free to post any of those I skipped, in the comments.

Clean Bandit, featuring Jess Glynne, at number 41:

Okay, I do not remember hearing this one before, but it sounds truly nice. And even though I try not to let myself get too caught up in the videos, wishing to post only those songs that can stand alone, musically, but in spite of all that, I found myself fascinated by the video. A fish market on the other side of the world somewhere. Interesting. (Japan?) And the music is great, any old way.

Enrique Iglesias, featuring Descemer Bueno and Gente De Zona, at number 38:

This song is sung entirely in Spanish, with English captions. Very smooth, very nice.

American Authors, at number 31:

So nice!

So lively and cheerful!

Avicii, at number 22:

Okay, on this song, I truly like it, musically.

I truly do not like the depressing story in the video, about a town full of people who do not like this mother and daughter.

Wait!

I finally watched the whole video, and they found a place where they belong.

Okay, now I feel better.

Last week, one of you commentators posted it, anyway, so, this week I posted it.

Hugs, to all of you, in our virtual town here!

Lorde, at number 20:

I remember this song, from back then.

Very unique.

“We drive Cadillacs in our dreams.”

Passenger, at number 19:

A very sad song.

Taylor Swift, at number 13:

Taylor Swift is making news, right now, in late 2023.

But she can also produce some pretty good songs, apparently.

Ha!

Ariana Grande, featuring Iggy Azalea, at number 9:

The theme of this song, “I got one less problem without you,” that does not relate to my personal life nowadays, but for younger folks, who often have several relationships, and at least one or two of them are doing more harm than good, those young folks can benefit from the wisdom in this song. Seems to me.

Meghan Trainor, at number 8:

Yes!

So much fun!

Magic! at number 7:

That is an old-fashioned love song, seems to me.

John Legend, at number 3:

Such a truly nice love song.

Katy Perry, featuring Juicy J, at number 2:

So unusual, I do not know what to say.

Pharrell Williams, at number 1:

Tonia’s Aunt Oletha commented on that song, saying that that song is a nice update of this old song:

www.youtube.com/…

(The song is, “If you’re happy and you know it.”)

The new song is much better, seems to me!

Okay, here is the link to the list again.

Hugs!
