The Props assist the House Until the House is built
Today is Bodhi Day, when Buddhists celebrate the enlightenment that came to Siddhartha sitting under the bodhi tree. Lighting candles and decorating trees are some of the ways it is observed. Here are a few poems about spirit.
And then the Props withdraw
And adequate, erect,
The House support itself
And cease to recollect
The Auger and the Carpenter—
Just such a retrospect
