Trump vs Lincoln Project. He claims it's A.I. that makes him look weak, disoriented and slurry [1]

In 2017, during a speech at the UN, Trump called Kim Jong Un a “madman.” In response, Kim said , "I will surely and definitely tame the mentally deranged US dotard with fire." Two years later, as his love affair with Kim Jong Un hit a rocky patch, North Korea’s foreign ministry fleshed out the thought by saying Trump’s belligerence “must really be diagnosed as the relapse of the dotage of a dotard".
At the time, political pundits dismissed this diagnosis as a typical spat-induced nose-thumbing. With hindsight, we can see that it was both perceptive and accurate.
Trump’s recent mental woes and physical frailties are well-documented. The Lincoln Project added to the record by running an ad on YouTube pithily titled “Feeble.” It contrasted an unsteady word-mangler with a family history of dementia, with a vigorous Joe Biden — who the ad called a stronger, better, smarter man and President.
Voiceover: “Donald, we notice something. More and more people are saying it. You’re weak. You seem unsteady. You need help getting around. And wow!
Cut to Trump trying to say “anonymous”: “AN ANOMIS. REALLY AN ANOMONISS COUNTRY AND UDURR”
Voiceover: “Are you sure you don’t have dementia.” (whispering) It runs in the family. Have you had a real doctor check you out? You keep confusing things. Getting the facts wrong. People laugh about it. About you. Even your own people behind your back. You’re winning the primary, but losing your power, your strength, your manhood.
Face it Donald, you’re just projecting when you call Joe Biden old. He’s stronger than you, better than you, smarter than you. A better man. And a better President. Anyone can see it. And when you lay there at night alone, you know we’re right. You’re falling apart, Donald. Breaking down. Right in front of our eyes.”

Trump, too thin-skinned to ignore it, fanned the flames — as the Lincoln Project prayed he would — and raged on his dollar store site “Truth Social”:
"The perverts and losers at the failed and once disbanded Lincoln Project, and others, are using A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) in their Fake television commercials in order to make me look as bad and pathetic as Crooked Joe Biden, not an easy thing to do. Fox News shouldn’t run these ads, just as low ratings CNN & MSDNC will not, under any circumstances, run negative ads on Biden or the Democrats.
It does not help you project youth and vigor when you assume your audience does not know what “A.I.” stands for. The rest was as shopworn and trite as his last seven years of unoriginal invective. C’mon man. The Stones can play Angie, Satisfaction, and Honky Tonk Woman forever, but they are classics. Your material is just old.
The Lincoln Project gleefully leapt on Trump’s tech blaming. They replied
"Donald Trump, are you in such mental decline you can't tell the difference between reality and AI?" You're losing it. We know it, your people know it, and now you do too. At least you remembered to name us this time.

I am no geriatric psychiatrist. But the difference between Trump 2023 and Trump 2016 is staggering. Even compared to 2021, he looks like a shell of the limited man he once was. However, Trump has little to worry about — at least from the base. He could talk complete gibberish, and the adoring MAGA horde would claim he was playing 3-D chess in ancient Greek.
The GOP can extol Trump all they want, line up to kiss his ass, and insist he walks on water. But in their hearts they must be praying he has a stoke or worse. Because his mental decline is so abrupt, he may start drooling when he accepts the Republican nomination next July, and mistake Milwaukee for Miami.
And by the election — oy vey!
