The REAL Fraudsters PART TWO: MAGA's Ongoing Efforts to START THE STEAL [1]

Around this time, a year ago, I wrote of the many ways in which the Republican/MAGA Party had gone about trying to rig the vote in their favor,
including error plagued voter purges, the distribution of fraudulent election misinformation, the presence of armed vigilantes at drop boxes and polling places, intimidation and death threats directed at election officials,
gerrymandered voting districts designed to disenfranchise the minority vote, breaches of voting machines, and a host of other underhanded maneuvers and initiatives designed to deprive people of the right to vote.
And now a year later, the so-called "law and order" party has moved to even more extreme and in our face efforts, at the state and local levels and via the judicial system, to enforce only the "laws" THEY choose to recognize, and the "orders" THEY deign to GIVE.
In states like Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, North Dakota and elsewhere, Republicans have repeatedly resisted, delayed, undermined, and even defied court orders to redraw voting districts in a fairer, more equitable manner.
In red states like Ohio, Michigan and elsewhere, Republicans continue fighting to make it harder for voters to enact ballot measures.
In Virginia and Ohio, GOP lawmakers and officials fraudulently and in one case, secretly, removed tens of thousands of legal voters from the rolls days before the November elections.
In North Carolina, the Republican legislature tried to eliminate Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper’s authority to pick election board members, while certain far right officials in a California county wanted to throw out voting machines so they could hand count ballots instead.
Not to be outdone, the Texas GOP tried to have Houston’s election results thrown the (heck) out, and the Colorado GOP, having apparently decided will of the voters be damned, advised their county canvass boards to simply REFUSE to certify the Nov. 7 election results, on the bogus ASSumption that their system must be "rigged." Yeah... that's the ticket.
While in Mississippi, where police set up ROADBLOCKS (so-called "checkpoints") near an HBCU the day before the election,
and where a 74% Black majority Hinds county mysteriously came up SHORT of ballots on election night (mum's reportedly the word),
their GOP has now filed SUIT because a judge ordered the polls to remain open so that their citizenry could exercise their RIGHT TO VOTE.
Even after the public makes their will be known as voters did in November by ensuring abortion rights in multiple states, Republicans insist on having it THEIR way, ANYWAY, via various underhanded schemes to undermine voter approved referendums. Because like I said, only THEIR law, THEIR order, matters.
Meanwhile, the GOP continues their attack upon young voters, including Vivek Ramaswamy, who wants young voters to pass a civics test (though considering his ill-advised if not misinformed views on race and racism in America, the question is, can HE?)
Yet, of all the MAGA schemes to deprive people of the right to vote, one of their more devastating affronts came in a recent ruling from a Trump appointed judge that blocks an individual's right to appeal against discriminatory voting practices.
Because if this ruling stands, it will provide cover for the MAGA GOP to do just about whatever they want to THE RIGHT TO VOTE. And it is through the courts that they plan on undermining the will of the people. Just as they ALWAYS have.
Not to mention the fact that Trump and his clown show company of co-conspirators are STILL trying to pull off a COUP, still being financed and bankrolled by secret donors and dark money groups, still promoting the BIG LIE,
still trying to litigate the 2020 election, still falsely claiming he won (all 50 states, he says), still trying to manipulate state elected officials and election offices (for example his pushing for the impeachment of a Wisconsin elections chief),
and STILL trying to incite violent insurrection, via incendiary rhetoric, fear mongering, and by extolling his zealots to "guard the vote" in Democratic cities, where not too coincidentally large percentages of urban and minority voters live.
(Too bad his Black props for white supremacy who get their '15 seconds' by endorsing HIM haven't yet gotten a clue... or maybe they don't give a damn. But I'll be writing about them later).
So to all democracy loving Americans, be vigilant. Be aware. And be ready. Because they aim to START THE STEAL. Any which way they can.
