More on Helping Young Ukrainians Learn English (ENGin) [1]

A month ago I posted a story about volunteering with ENGin, an organization dedicated to helping young (ages 9 — ~35 yrs old) Ukrainians learn or improve their English through weekly on-line meetings. Your response was overwhelming and heart-warming ! captainfactoid has kept the ball in play.
Another way you can help is by donating funds to the cause. The budget for the whole program is not large by US standards ($300,000) but there is currently a shortfall. Here is some good news from ENGin’s latest newsletter:
We have exciting news!!! One of our selfless ENGin volunteers has pledged to match every donation made until year end, up to $10,000. This is a golden opportunity to double your impact and help us achieve our mission! Let's embrace this chance to empower ENGin in its pursuit to help Ukraine speak to the world!
And here is an inspiring message from one of their students (my bold-face):
Dear Volunteers,
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving .... Now, it’s our turn to express our gratitude for all the incredible volunteer work you do for ENGin.
These days, English fluency is the key to freedom, the thing that Ukrainians have always cherished. It can open an endless number of doors, give us even more opportunities, and ultimately bring Ukraine one step closer to the much-awaited victory!
Independence is something that we consider inherently Ukrainian, something that we appreciate more than anything else. However, there’s only one thing that can put ENGin’s independence at risk – a lack of funds. But a little donation can make a huge difference!
