Pooties are not usually soldiers in the same way dogs can be. They are not strong, or famous for their sense of smell (which is good) or ferocity (which tends to be selective on their own terms). They tend to serve in support roles.
sometimes just having something to look after can do a soldier’s soul a world of good.
the well known benefits of purr therapy extend even to the most difficult circumstances.
