Here is the verbiage of the offensive post I made to my timeline.

”In honor of Veterans Day, my grandfather Capt. Costa Divonis receiving his World War II battlefield commission from 1st Sergeant to 1st Lieutenant during the Aleutian Islands campaign. Grandpa “C” later served in Europe and deployed to Okinawa immediately after VE Day. Respect and admiration for all of our Veterans. Thank you for your Service.“

Wow. Just wow. But it brought me out of retirement here on Kos.
