I was diagnosed diabetic beginning of Oct 2023. One of the noobs…

Doc is ok, but not an endrocrinologist.

2019: glucose = 100

Jan 2023: glucose = 400. I finally figured out how to see the numbers in June, ouch. Time to cut out the sugar drinks.

Sept 2023: start Medicare. Doc visit, blood work. Glucose = 300.

Oct 2023: doc visit, discuss, prescription for Metformin, whatever that is/does.

Nov 2023: doc visit today, “accutest jab”, glucose = 182. Yay! well headed in the right direction. Continuing on pill, have to do the 3X daily injection with something or other, back to the doc end of Nov.

I’m willing to do the pill long-term, was on a daily anti-cholesterol statin for about 15+ years. Would prefer not to be doing the jab...
