FBI seizes electronic devices of NYC Mayor Eric Adams - Updated with more information [1]

Oh my goodness.
In the latest news from the Never A Dull Moment Department, the FBI has seized New York City Mayor Adam’s electronic devices. He says he is not guilty of any wrongdoing.
This just popped on ABC news, I was looking for something else and it jumped out.
Here’s from their brief piece:
The FBI declined to comment to ABC News. The mayor's office confirmed that the seizure took place on Monday. The mayor has denied any wrongdoing. "As a former member of law enforcement, I expect all members of my staff to follow the law and fully cooperate with any sort of investigation—and I will continue to do exactly that. I have nothing to hide," Adams said in a statement.
Recently a key donor of Adams’, Brianna Suggs, was revealed to be undergoing an investigation, but this is surprising to me.

Apparently the FBI is looking into whether the government of Turkey and/or other Turkish nationals have funneled money into Adams’ campaign, as well as whether there are perhaps irregularities with the NYC matching system which is quite generous according the article.
Campaign finance irregularities involving Ms. Suggs focused on the possible Turkish money.
