Suffolking it up again, on Long Island [1]

Ed Romaine beat Dave Calone last night for Suffolk County Executive last night. Now, Suffolk County has always been conservative ( compared to its neighbor, Nassau, where I grew up). It has been trending even redder in recent years. But looking at the wider electoral results from last night nationally, I am inclined to put this debacle squarely at the foot of New York State Democratic Party chairman Jay Jacobs.

You remember him, right? The guy who spent the previous election (that decided the House) badmouthing the Left and failing to keep the Republicans ( including the execrable Santos) from taking power in Congress. Anyway, this is a warning and and yearly reminder that the incompetent and corrupt Jacobs needs to go, along with the rest of the remaining Cuomo machine….
