Let this be a lesson! Details and voter suppression matters! Yesterday Ohio dared to defy their own legislature and emplace Woman’s rights to bodily autonomy in their constitution! The vote was NOT close for a swing state, 56/43, over 10 points leading. However, it took a lot of work and grit, determination for that election to happen, and for the win to mean anything. Previously, voters shot down “Issue 1” in Ohio which was a separate bill that would have made passing voter initiatives like this one only valid if 60% of voters approved. So if the first “Issue 1” won, the 2nd would have failed!
How’s that for your typical commie plot, Mandrake, They’re trying to invade our precious bodily fluids! (Dr. Strangelove reference).
So hurray to all democratic loving Ohioans! You beat them not once but TWICE.
The rest of the country needs to be just as vigilant! We need to fight voter suppression and election deniers all the way up to the elections that count. Because if we don’t we won’t get counted period!
Don’t remember the Alamo. Remember Ohio!
