Mike Johnson: budget genius? [1]

When Mike Johnson pushed his Israel aid bill coupled with a reduction in funding for IRS, I immediately thought, “Well, that’s just a stick in the eye to Democrats. Nobody could be that stupid.” After all, the Congressional Budget Office said that it would ADD $26.8B to the deficit. He knows that it would never get through the Senate, let alone Biden’s veto. He’s just pandering to his billionaire funders.
Then I decided to look up Johnson’s bio. You know what? He just might be that stupid…at least when it comes to finances. He has never held a job at a for-profit company. After graduating with a law degree from LSU in 1998, he worked for the Alliance Defense Fund, a socially conservative legal advocacy group. He held various other positions in non-profit groups until he because a Louisiana State representative. He’s collected his salary from taxpayers ever since.
Geez, I hope the Republicans don’t find out that he’s never been a ‘job creator’.
