Ukraine destroyed one of Russia’s brand new high-tech “Pole 21” electronic jamming stations that is supposedly impenetrable by drones.
Ukraine isn’t saying how they destroyed Pole 21, but wouldn’t it be just special if a drone took it out?
x Ukrainian forces destroy state-of-the-art Russian weapon dubbed ‘impenetrable drone dome’
The Russian electronic warfare system “Pole-21” was developed in 2016. According to 🇷🇺 sources, its effective range is 60 km.

The “Pole-21” system, established in 2016, counters precision weapons and drones by creating an interference dome that disrupts signals from navigation satellites. As a result, precision-guided weapons lose their way and fail to fulfill their combat missions. This complex comprises a control station for communication among 100 posts, with each module packing up to 600W of power. The jamming generators, accompanied by antennas, are positioned on towers or masts and can be vehicle-mounted. According to the Russians, the “Pole-21” system has a range of 60 kilometers, while Ukrainian intelligence suggests it is effective up to more than 25 kilometers.
Pidstepne is a tiny village on the left bank of the Dnipro. It looks like Ukraine’s plan is to take Kozachi Laheri by moving west from Krynky and east from its new position north of Pidestepne.
I believe one of the goals of this operation on the left bank is to push Russian tube artillery out of range of the city of Kherson.

This is from a war blogger who claims to be with the Ukrainian forces on the left bank.
Other than this I can offer you information that is already on internet. AFU has footholds in Poima, Kozachi Lahery, in/around Oleshky and in south I really hope to see the surprise I wrote about first time about 2 months ago: Hola Prystan.P.S. Is was quiet while recording now russians are shelling again, but I can assure you then can't see a damn thing, that's how low the clouds are.
x #Kherson Oblast brief update, next to #Dnipro river: As UA MoD will not allow any War Correspomdent to offer any details regarding the Dnipro crossings, I can only say that today there where lots of heavy fighting on the north and the south oh Kherson city.

That December delivery date for the Askold is going to have to be pushed back just a bit.

The downside of a peace deal or truce, which would only be a pause in the war, is that Russia would have time to rearm and mobilize. The upside is that Ukraine would have an opportunity to rearm, acquire and deploy F-16s and move towards a NATO-style military.
x Really the best statement in days:
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania on peace with russia: "Our children will curse us in the trenches we dig for them. A peace agreement will only allow the Kremlin to rearm." pic.twitter.com/rdZqoNWBq2 — Jürgen Nauditt 🇩🇪🇺🇦 (@jurgen_nauditt) November 5, 2023
Here is a reminder that a peace deal with Russia wouldn’t be worth the paper it is printed on. A peace deal might last a year or two but Russia would eventually break it and attack again.
x WHY UKRAINE NOT MAKING A PEACE DEAL WITH RUSSIA?

Zelenskyy addressed the issue in his nightly speech.
My condolences to all relatives and friends of the fallen soldiers! This is a tragedy that could have been avoided. Minister of Defense Umyerov reported to me about the measures taken to find out all the circumstances of what happened, who specifically gave what orders. Criminal proceedings were also registered as a result of the tragedy. The relevant investigation is ongoing. The main thing is to establish the full truth about what happened, and to prevent this from happening again. Every soldier in the combat zone - in the enemy's range and aerial reconnaissance zone - knows how to behave in the open sky, how to take care of safety. Now the investigation should give honest answers to the relatives of the fallen soldiers and the society as to how the tragedy happened and whose orders were wrong.

It doesn’t get a lot of attention, but combat medicine can make the difference between wounded soldiers and dead soldiers, from limbs that can be saved and limbs lost. I’m hoping the translation below is correct.
x Tourniquet conversion, or the process of replacing a previously applied tourniquet with a pressure bandage is a critical skill.
Evac times suck. The cold makes it harder. There's no reason to let a previously applied TQ sit for 5+ hours on a minor wound.

In short, I will write something that I have wanted to write for some time, but could not find the right words. I don't know which ones are correct even now, so I will write them as they are. I feel that this is my duty.We all together (including me) paid more attention to the quality of the turnstiles. However, in one and a half years I generally do not see any improvement in tactical medicine skills in the military. Yes, some units are improving, but in many brigades the situation is catastrophic. Sometimes it seems that there is not a single person who knows how to perform turnstile conversions In some areas of the front, the minimum evacuation time from the battlefield is 4-5 hours. It's cold now. In such conditions, to lie with a tourniquet is almost always to lose a limb. Most wounds can be tamped and a tourniquet applied. Conversion is FUCKING important! Of the last 500 wounded that we treated, there were much fewer of those whose lives were saved by the tourniquet and more of those where it was not needed and caused the loss of a limb. Now IMPORTANT - the next tweet I am in no way saying that turnstiles are unnecessary. Fighters and combat medics cannot be trained to deal with bleeding and wounds professionally. BUT they need to be taught conversion. I know that many people conduct training, but practice shows that it is not enough at all The worst thing I have seen in military medicine is the loss of two arms and a leg due to 2 tangential shrapnel wounds and a torn phalanx of a finger. The man lay with three tourniquets for 7 hours and no carrion thought to look at the wound.

Speaking of children, Belarus has been complicit in the abduction of Ukrainian children. Lukashenko should be indicted by the ICC along with Putin and Maria Lvova-Belova.
x I'm thankful to @TheSun for reporting on the Lukashenka regime's involvement in the abduction of Ukrainian children. The dictator must be held accountable at the @IntlCrimCourt for these crimes. We call for an international arrest warrant to be issued.

Sucks to be an expelled Russian spy.
As Insider media reports, they became in possession of a collective address of Russian intelligence agents to Putin. In it, they complain that there are no decent jobs for them in Moscow and spots in daycares and schools. They are appalled that the wife of one of them was offered a job in pizza delivery.
