A Little Street Art for This Saturday: Saturday's GNR [1]

Every once in a while I need a week off from a careful reading of the news.
This was one of those weeks.
It isn’t that there isn’t good news to report — there is!
But your Saturday GNR lady just needed a week off from the kind of focus on the news that is necessary to gather the good.
I found that this week, I was comforted by images of murals from all around the world. What could be more beautiful than putting in so much time just to make something beautiful to brighten people’s day. It makes no money. It curries no favor. It is just there to be enjoyed. What a gift that humans can create something so lovely and that everyone can see it!
I hope you don’t mind me sharing my favorites, in lieu of a traditional GNR.
I promise to return, very soon, the format you all are used to.
In the meantime:
