We’re certainly in one of those historical phases when we welcome any good news. Fortunately, we’ve received exactly that from our friends at UAW! Under new progressive leadership, it looks like the United Auto Workers had one of the most successful strikes in recent US history, winning new contracts (yet to be approved by the membership, but it looks good) from the Big Three U.S. automakers.
PDA’s great ally, Sen. Nina Turner, always has her finger on the pulse of our times. Indeed, she is launching a new project, We Are Somebody: Fighting for Worker Solidarity! that focuses on the upsurge in labor activism across the country, and harmonizes perfectly with PDA’s strategy for supporting organized labor.
You’re not going to want to miss this week’s Town Hall. No one can lift the spirits of a progressive audience in the 21st century like Nina Turner.RSVP Now!
