..(Judge) Chutkan announced the February start of jury selection in D.C. on Thursday, in a two-page order that grants requests by special counsel Jack Smith to protect the privacy of prospective jurors. Trump’s defense largely agreed to those requests...The safeguards include barring either side from directly communicating with potential jurors, using “nonpublic databases” for juror research, disclosing prospective jurors’ names or identifying information, or providing identifying information to others...

Per the Washington Post, Cannon said at the hearing that she was “having a hard time seeing how this work can be accomplished in this compressed time frame.”
So the Orange man got only half a loaf rather then the whole package of bread. "Loose" Cannon is determine to find an excuse to delay the Orange document stealers trial until after the 2024 election in the hopes the Conman can get reelected and make the charges go away. Looks like it will do her no good if she suceeds.
While there is still the trials in New York and Georgia, in the former the Conman may get probation if convicted. In the latter he may get a single MAGA cultist to get him a hung jury.
But Washington DC is not not T***p friendly. The case is also much simpler then Florida, no worry about access to classified documents or secret clearances.
