Israel vs Gaza, I am heartbroken [1]

I have always been hawkish when it comes to Israel, and have defended that nation fiercely in my rhetoric. However, I have reached a point at which I believe that Israel has become Hamas in it’s thirst for revenge.
Yesterday, Israel hit the Jabalia refugee camp for the second time in as many days. Since this war began, it is estimated that at least 8,500 Palestinians have been killed and tens of thousands wounded, most of them women, children, and the elderly, who are innocent victims of this slaughter. Hospitals are without power, so treating the scores of wounded is now almost impossible. Many of the wounded will most likely die. Yes, I believe that Hamas terrorist scum should be taken out completely, but at what cost? The time for a brokered cease fire is yesterday, but now would suffice. As much as I do not want to admit it, Hamas is not the only warring faction that has committed crimes against humanity.

And yes, I AM heartbroken over this. This should not be happening. Not like this.
