Welcome to the Street Prophets Coffee Hour cleverly hidden at the intersection of religion and politics. This is an open thread where we can share our thoughts and comments about the day. Let’s start off by visiting a trapper’s cabin.

In 1988, the Upper Swan Valley Historical Society was established in Condon, Montana. The goal was to discover, collect, preserve, and interpret materials relating to Montana’s Swan River Valley. Today the Swan Valley Historical Society has displays relating to the area history. The museum grounds include several historic buildings.

The Trappers Cabin was built sometime in the late 1920s or early 1930s near the Elbow Lookout. In 2014 the cabin was donated to the museum.

The bed shown above has a mattress of evergreen boughs.
