JUST FUCKING STOP!

First of all, I see people throwing the word genocide around. That ISRAEL, not Hamas, is guilty of genocide.

Let’s take a look at what the word actually means:

Genocide — the deliberate and systematic extermination of a national, racial, political, or cultural group.

Israel is neither deliberately, nor systematically targeting Palestinians. Hamas on the other hand, did deliberately target Jews for the sole purpose of eradicating them. They have been doing it for decades. The only ones guilty of attempting genocide is Hamas.

Second, this is 100% on Hamas. They committed a despicable act of terror against Israeli civilians. They brutally murdered, tortured, raped and/or mutilated hundreds of innocent civilians. They are also the ones who are complete chickenshits by hiding amongst the Palestinian people, and putting them in harms way.

Third, Israel has tried to allow as many Palestinian civilians to flee as possible. They worked with Biden and the Egyptian government to allow a humanitarian corridor into Gaza to get aid to the people caught in the middle. The IDF have taken steps to minimize civilian causalities as much as possible.

Fourth, while I do have my own valid criticisms regarding Israeli foreign policy as it pertains to the Palestinian people, as I am sure many of you do, and how many of the Palestinian people have indeed been negatively affected, there was ZERO justification for this. NOTHING excuses brutality against civilians like this. NOTHING! ZIP! ZILCH! NADA! You DO NOT deliberately target civilians. Only terrorists do that, like Hamas. Israel doesn’t.

Fifth, Israel is not a terrorist organization. Hamas is. Israel does not target civilians. Hamas does. Israel does not mutilate the bodies of infants and children. Hamas does. Israel does not rape women. Hamas does. Israel does not deliberately target hospitals, schools, and other civilian infrastructure. Hamas does.

I saw a fellow Kossack literally say that siding with Israel is like siding with Germany in WWII.

What the actual FUCK?!?! Siding with Israel, with the Jewish people, is like siding with the people who tried to exterminate them? Sorry, but on what fucking planet are you from buddy?

This sick and twisted shit I am seeing, even right here on Kos, represents the very sick kind of terrorist group sympathizing liberal that gives the rest of us a bad name, and taints liberalism in general. Because there is only two sides here. If you don’t side with Israel, then you ARE siding with terrorists. Plain and simple.

I am not saying Israel hasn’t done bad things. As I said earlier, some of their foreign policy as it pertains to the Palestinian people is wrong, and the people have been harmed by it. But that doesn’t excuse terrorism and slaughtering people. Period.

Think to the Ukraine/Russia conflict. It’s the same fucking thing. Are you going to side with Russia because Ukraine is fighting back after being attacked, and sadly Russian civilians may be hurt or killed as a result?

Because this is the very logic (or rather lack of logic), that I am seeing everywhere, including here, which essentially is an argument in support of siding with Hamas.

Hamas brutally attacked Israel in a way not dissimilar from Russia’s attack on Ukraine.

Israel is fighting for it’s very existence, just like Ukraine is.

Ukraine is inflicting causalities against Russia, and it may potentially include some civilian casualties sadly. Are these idiots now gonna say we should side with Russia because of that?

Cause that’s the argument that is being made

This is 100% wrong, and any fool who actually believes this bullshit needs to take some time to educate themselves on the history of this conflict, as well as the FACT that Israel is a democracy, with a highly trained, professional, stoic military much like ours, who don’t commit terrorism or war crimes.

Unlike Hamas, who these morons are saying we should side with by default.

All of you who foolishly think these things, I feel sick that you dare call yourselves liberals, while siding with murderous, degenerate, evil terrorist trash like Hamas.

And it is bullshit like this that makes people repel as soon as they learn you are a liberal, why a “D” next to your name makes you automatically toxic to some, and why some reasonable, moderate independents think liberals are out of their fucking minds. Because a small, yet loud minority of us are, spewing this kind of utter horseshit.
