Mike Johnson Defines the Gun Violence Epidemic [1]

After the latest horrific mass shooting in Lewiston, Maine, Mike Johnson, the new Speaker of the House, anointed by God, pointed out that guns were not the problem. A weapon that can kill dozens of people in a matter of seconds is not the problem. An extended magazine that allows a shooter the luxury of not having to reload is not the problem. Allowing anybody, including domestic abusers and people having mental health crises, access to the tools for a mass shooting is not the problem. Loopholes for online purchases of weapons, anytime and anywhere, is not the problem.
No. The problem, as Mike Johnson so piously noted, is the human heart. Just think of all the people beaten to death by a human heart. Don’t blame the beautiful, efficient tools that God and Smith and Wesson have granted us. That’s blasphemy! And Mike Johnson will not blaspheme! No. The problem is the human heart, and since Mike Johnson has proven that he doesn’t have one, at least we can rest assured that he won’t be the perpetrator of the next mass shooting. He’ll just sit by and watch as it happens. And, of course, send thoughts and prayers.
