Bye-bye Hamas fans... It's all over, DSA [1]

A big shout-out to New York Democrat Ritchie Torres! The firebrand congressman from the Bronx scorched the self-styled Democratic Socialists of America after they endorsed a rally of swastika-wielding Israel-haters and then issued a non-apology that “can’t even be bothered to mention, much less condemn, Hamas and its mass murder of Jews.”
Sorry, DSA, you can’t claim to be progressive while allying yourself with one of the most vicious far-right movements on the planet. “The DSA, despite the name, is not democratic,” Torres explained. “It’s despicable, detestable, disgraceful, and disgraced. The same can be said of anyone who enables them.”
Thank you, Ritchie, for saying what needed to be said! We were inspired to pen the following lyric about the group founded by the late author of The Other America – a staunch defender of Israel in his time – that has long since lost its way:

DSA change your name
you are not democratic
you are not socialist
